Versatile Blogger Award (x2)

Hi fellow humans!

So I discovered something pretty exciting, which is (in case you didn’t guess from the title), I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award… twice!

Now I wasn’t entirely sure what to write for the next part but here’s 7 things about me that’ll hopefully be somewhat interesting…

1. I’m human (in case you didn’t guess) – though Plue the robot also helps out alot.
2. I love desserts, well actually food in general is awesome!
3. I’m sure many of us have been asked before Dogs or Cats? Personally I have a dog and a cat who are both awesome so I can’t choose between them. Hmmm I love lots of animals really but I guess I might prefer dogs a bit more in general – don’t kill me for this all the cat lovers out there, I still love cats too 😛
4. I’ve kind of always wanted to try Parkour. If you haven’t heard of it before go check it out!
5. I’m one of those odd people who don’t seem to get scared watching horror movies.
6. Well you probably already know this but I enjoy creating sketches, actually I enjoy doing many different arty things such as painting and more detailed drawings but creating sketches is something that I probably find the most fun!
7. I once tried making hot chocolate in the microwave… and it exploded. Don’t worry too much though since then that’s never happened again (the exploding that is, I still drink plenty of hot chocolate).

So any twins out there? / Day time TV rants

Hi fellow humans!

Today I flicked on the TV during lunch, though there wasn’t much on considering this was around midday. Yes of course one of our typical day-time TV problems. The only choices I really had were commercials – yay vacuum cleaners, or some random show about twins.

Well looking back now I suppose I could have just watched something online, or gone through my collection and chosen a tv show (supernatural!) or movie… but I didn’t. Any other supernatural fans out there? Well this may have gotten a tad off topic, but while we’re here what are some shows that you’d recommend?

Ok so back on point… now of those two options (commercial or random twins show) i’m sure we can all guess what’s better. Whilst the show (I never actually checked what it’s name was) wouldn’t be the type to put on any of our top lists and wasn’t superbly intellectual, it did lead me to thinking about twins.

Do twins really have some kind of magical connection? From the people who are twins that I know I haven’t seen any mystical powers yet, though that would be utterly awesome. So for now i’ll sadly say probably not. Though they do seem to have a fairly good understanding of each other… most of the time. 

Also would we really want to be twins? I’m sure at some points it would be fun (switching places for a day, pranking) but would it also be weird having someone who looks so similar, hmmm not so sure on this one.

Quick Drawing #5 Robot Food

I’m sure lots of us are wondering what people are going to use in the future when all the oil is gone… electricity maybe? Anyway, here’s a small sketch I did. Still not sure whether Plue the Robot is angry about cars drinking all the fuel because of the environment or simply because of hunger… probably both 😛

Quick Drawing #4… I want to be a superhero ;)

We all have dreams and I was thinking when we’re young these just seemed so much more exciting. What were all the dream jobs we had back then? superhero, ninja, fairy, pirate, … I’d say we should all chase our dreams but sometimes that might be a little difficult 😛

Our Crazy Thoughts

Hi fellow humans!

Recently my brains been in a muddle. You know there are things to do, you do them… or at least some of them but something always seems to come up. That got me to thinking, so who are we? What makes us do the things we do?

Of course this thought was one of my many random rambles in my head so it didn’t really go anywhere at the time. That is, until I stumbled upon this quote the other day: “Mentality is controlled by not the human, but by what the human brain perceives from the life around its mind. And then it becomes a habit, and the habit becomes a person.” Which got me to thinking how our every little action in a way makes us who we are.

To be honest, the thought is a little scary and for a while I seemed to analyse nearly every little thing I did that day. Just in case you’re wondering that’s probably not the best of ideas unless you feel like overthinking half of your actions… such as whether lying in bed for an extra hour makes you super lazy, what books you read, what flavour food to pick, how you respond to others… the list goes on with pretty much every action. At one point it got ridiculous when I was choosing which way to go when I went for a walk and what flavour ice-cream to eat (I ended up having a bit of both :P).

Yeah that day might have been a little crazy.

Anyway, we all have different thoughts about who we are and i’m definitely not saying any thoughts are right or wrong. If you want to share about any thoughts you’ve had, or just any crazy days you’ve experienced then please say so below 🙂 Haha by the way sorry if that was a bit crazy to read, though hopefully these rambles are somewhat interesting!

Ridiculous Internet Rambles

Hello humans 🙂 So my thoughts have been a bit rampant recently which lead to this kinda random post.

Recently i’m sure we’ve all noticed how sociable everyone is. I mean we chat all the time, on Facebook that is, or perhaps if we’re feeling particularly sociable we might text or shock horror actually call someone.

I mean i’ll be one of the first to say the internet is awesome but sometimes it seems we rely on it a tad too much. The other day my friend was asking for relationship advice…their first port of call Google. Though i’m sure we all experience this, it’s easier and generally faster to simply search for all the world’s answers online.

Furthermore, without the internet I wouldn’t be able to share all these random thoughts with everyone. Not to mention how bored we’d all be. No crazy posts to read or videos to watch, no instantly downloadable music, no browsing through the web when you’re bored. No wasting tons of time as I did the other day on http://iwastesomuchtime.com/on/?i=28000

My Best Friend The Pillow

Hi everyone, thanks to all of you who have decided to become fellow humans and listen to these random rants and hello to any new humans reading this.

So this morning I woke up and truth be told I just decided to waste half of my day lying in bed. As we all know on the amazing day of the week that is a Sunday, all of our grand ambitions seem to take a side step to the want of simply doing nothing.

That’s not to say that we don’t have anything that needs to be done. I have a fair few tasks which I suppose I will need to make a start on later today, but up till now I have been far too busy enjoying one of our best friends; the pillow. In fact sundays like this seem to be a recurring occasion and can easily leave us in a last minute scramble on Monday morning.

My best advice for the moment I suppose would simply be to get all this laziness out now i.e. we can spend all those hours surfing the web and clicking on endless recommended links so that hopefully we’ll all be a tad more productive in the coming week(disclosure – may not be best to actually take this advice). Though if you have some better ideas please feel free to comment below, it would be hard to make it worse than this advice.

Just a warning, in my errant web browsing and searches using our popular friend Google, I made the unfortunate mistake of typing in ‘lazy sundays’ which lead to a mildly disturbing graphic to say the least. In other words don’t got there. Seriously just don’t.

Also, stay tuned for another quick sketch later today, i’ve been finding it surprisingly fun, as I am sure many other drawers out there would know to turn some of these random thoughts into a picture.
